Why does Roman not recognize his own daughter?

Is the series finished?
Yes. The listing is marked completed with all 45 episodes published.
The blizzard opening explains everything. Five years of silence and then she walks into his building with a child who has his eyes - that is a hard reset you cannot look away from.
He spent the first episodes being the worst boss alive and then the child walks in and you understand every cold decision retroactively. The turnaround is earned, not rushed.
A contract marriage, a five-year ghost, and one office. What sold me was the ordinary stretch - a paycheck she needs, a front desk call, an apartment she will not let him into. The revenge beats are there when you pay.
